Essex Man Does Walking

So the camping season has arrived again. This time I have my son joining me on a short part of the South Downs Way with 2 nights of camping. This means I really needed some more stuff! Any excuse.

Cooking Equipment

I did get the Fire-Maple Buzz burner for Christmas but didn’t get anything else to work with it. So I purchased the G2 Petrel Ultralight Camping Pot to go with it. Looks large enough to heat up water and food quickly. I bought a 230g gas cylinder as well which fits inside of the pot.

Lighter

Got one of those electric lighters to light the stove.

Cups, Bowls and Sporks!

A couple of Fire-Maple collapsible bowls for the food. Light my Fire Sporks and some stainless steel HEECN camping mugs with lid and carabiner. Sorted.

Powerbank

I cannot for the life of me find my powerbank so had to buy another. Excactly the same. Anker nano power bank.

Sleeping equipment

I have ordered a slightly heavier version of my Highland Trekker Ultralight Sleeping Bag for my son. It hasn’t arrived yet so hoping it does in time! I did get another Trinordic Ultralight inflatable sleeping bag as it is awesome.

Now I just need to buy some food !
