Essex Man Does Walking

I needed one big enough to fit two adults with room for gear so opted for the Nevis 300 three man tent. This is a light tent at 2.5kg and packs down small.

The other piece of equipment was a mini trangia stove. I am not intending to use it to cook meals, hopefully enough pubs nearby! A cup of tea in the morning is a must so it is good for that and I will take a few pouches of Mac and cheese just in case.
